Wind in the Woods Op 3

Concert Lollipops for Unaccompanied Instrument

This is one of my flagship packages – 43 concert ‘lollipops’ for the solo, unaccompanied performer. Presented in PDF format, there are many more items than the 46 listed here.

Wind In The Woods is instrument-specific. That is, the pieces are arranged throughout for the one instrument. However some pieces are intended for particular ones.  The Angel’s Trill (reference to Tartini’s Devil’s Trill) can probably only be played on the Recorder. Similarly the Encre for Left Hand is intended to be played using only the left hand again on the Recorder.

Wind In The Woods is available for Recorder, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn, Trumpet or Trombone. I would add that it is ‘embellished’ throughout with many other musical items, mostly serious, some less so. But all in all, great fun. Not aimed at the beginner, I would grade the total as 'difficult'.

The mp3 audio files in the table below will give you some idea of the pieces.   I have taken examples from the overall range of instruments, although when you get the file, it will be for your own instrument only.
